Welcome to the website of Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care NHS Trust. We are the NHS organisation responsible for providing community health services in Torbay and Southern Devon, as well as providing and commissioning (buying) adult social care in Torbay.

We have created this website to help you access and benefit from the wide range of local care services, and enable you to find out how we can support you and your family to live a healthy, independent life.

You will also find details on how we make decisions about health and social care, how we spend public money and how you can get involved in shaping services in your area.

Dartmouth Community Hospital telephone issue

Please note that there is currently a technical issue affecting external telephone lines at Dartmouth Community Hospital.

BT and the Trust's IT department are aware of the issue and are working to resolve the problem as a matter of urgency.

If your call to Dartmouth Community Hospital is not urgent and can be held until later today it would be much appreciated. For urgent calls, a temporary telephone line has been set up to reach the reception at Dartmouth Community Hospital via 01803 837350.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

The commissioning strategy sets out the plans for learning disability services in Torbay from 2014 - 2016. It looks at what services need to be provided now and in the future. It also describes what needs to change locally to modernise services and improve and enhance the lives of people with a learning disability.
