Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care Trust wishes to promote environmentally-friendly and healthy ways of travelling to its sites, such as cycling or walking, and making better use of the public transport system. Such methods of transport will ease traffic congestion and improve the local environment, whilst helping to keep you fit.
Travelling by Car:
There is a number of pay and display car parks within minutes of Hospital. Why not visit the AA route planner for help with how to plan your journey.
Travelling by Bus:
The nearest bus stop which is opposite Victoria Park is the main route for the No 12 bus which travels in a circle via Torquay/Newton Abbot. This stop is literally a few hundred yards from Church St.
Travelling by Rail:
Both Paignton Railway station and bus station are located less than 1/4 mile from Hospital and are adjacent to one another.
To walk the ¼ mile to the hospital from rail/bus station:
- Walk the length of Hyde Road which begins just yards from both stations.
- At the end of Hyde Road, cross over to Church St via pedestrian crossing (there is a signpost indicating Hospital direction located on crossing).
- Hospital is then a couple of hundred yards on left hand side of Church St.
However there is a taxi rank by railway/bus station, if unable to travel on foot.
